Synopsis:

White Tooth is a feature film that revolves around the lives of two mothers struggling to survive and thrive in a harsh and often unforgiving world. Selena Alvarez works in the fishing industry and has to pay off massive gambling debts to a notorious loan shark named Bishop. Can she get the money in time, or will she lose her freedom and her chance at motherhood? Simultaneously, Lucy is a pregnant great white, following her instincts to swim across the ocean and give birth to her shark pup in the same location where she was born decades earlier. Will she make it there alive, or will the sea’s many obstacles cut her journey short and rob her child of life? The movie follows both protagonists as they navigate the ups and downs of their treacherous environment before their lives collide in a dramatic fashion reminiscent of classics like Jaws, Moby Dick, and The Old Man and the Sea.
