Jess is a Cuban American author and screenwriter from Miami, Florida. She writes films, television, and books about angry girls and beautiful monsters. She studied English at Florida State University, and earned an MFA in Screenwriting from the University of Southern California. She was a staff writer on Diary of a Future President (Disney+).
