Writer/Director, VERSE

Noam Argov is a filmmaker, Nat Geo Explorer and MFA Film Futures Scholar at NYU’s Tisch Graduate Film Program. Across writing, directing and producing, her short films have screened at festivals like Aspen Shortsfsest, Palm Springs, SXSW and Locarno. Most recently, she produced a film that was executive produced by Spike Lee and nominated for a Student BAFTA. In screenwriting, her feature screenplay “Princess” was selected as the top script for NYU’s Table-Read Initiative, where it was read in its entirety for actors and industry. In directing, she recently won the Sloan Science Production Award to finance her thesis film “VERSE.” Prior to directing narrative, Noam got her start directing documentaries all over the world with the National Geographic Explorers Program. She worked as a mountaineering and climbing documentary filmmaker with brands like The North Face, Merrell, and Yeti. Noam grew up outside of Disney World in Florida, and works as a writing team with her sister Sappir Argov.
