Rebecca Katz is Manager of Creative Producing in the Feature Film Program (FFP) at Sundance Institute. Her focus is on cultivating new generations of independent producers through Labs, educational programs, granting, and networking events. She also supports FFP by identifying writers and directors to support through various labs, grants, and fellowships specializing in the Sloan Grant & Fellowship and Asian American Fellowship. As part of her work, she also provides holistic feedback on pitches, script drafts, and rough cuts for Sundance supported artists and offers strategy for financing, production, post-production, festival submission, and distribution. Prior to joining FFP, Rebecca worked in the Programming Department for the Sundance Film Festival. She is a founding member of 3G @ LAMOTH, a group made up of grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors that strives to help shape the future of Holocaust remembrance and education through social, community service, and educational events with a focus on storytelling. She received her BA from Tufts University and her MFA from the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC.
