Nicola is a Toronto-based screenwriter. She completed her MFA in Dramatic Writing at NYU Tisch, where she received the Oliver Stone Screenwriting Award, Future Screenwriters Fellowship, and Dramatic Writing Prize for Outstanding Writing for Animation. Nicola co-wrote the award-winning French Canadian web series Amours D’Occasion (2020), and her screenplay The Drake Equation was a Semifinalist for the 2021 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting.
